I see this quote every morning to motivate me and remind me how far I've come and how far I could go in life . First of all, I love Taylor too! Second, I have been through a lot in my life (as I am diabetic and that is a struggle in itself), so I am aware of all the fears life can throw at you. But in order to face these boundaries and succeed to your full potential you can't just run away from your fears -- you have to be FEARLESS and do your best, even with the presence of your fears.

My favorite quote is one from one of your videos and it is "Create a life that feels good on the inside, not just one that looks good on the outside." That means so much to me because Im a single mother of two and I struggle with depression. Its so important to me to be happy around my babies so that they aren't affected by what's been happening with me this past year. I put on my makeup and wear a smile but at the end of the day when I wipe it off and look in the mirror I have to face my demons, my loneliness, and my fears. I want to feel a genuine happiness that radiates from within me. So lately I've been trying to train myself to have a positive outlook and see the beauty in my life. I've been trying to focus on all that I have to be thankful for and looking to God for real peace. I don't just like this quote, I BELIEVE in this quote. I have to be the one to decide how my life will end up, I have to make the choice to be happy so that my kids can be happy. ReplyDeleteHi again Carli...love you again lol. For my second and final entry my quote is "I think I am normal, I am normal for me."- Arlene Hunt. This is for my son Jayden. A big part of where my depression has come this year is because I'm struggling with the fact that my son may have autism. He's three and nonverbal and is set off by any little thing. He can't express what he needs and is very easily frustrated. My heart just breaks for him every single day. He's seen therapists who all have said he shows signs of autism and we'll be going to get an evaluation in January. Autism isn't a death sentence...I HAVE my baby when many people have lost theirs and for that I'm forever grateful. I worry about Jayden because the world is so uneducated and unkind. I get stares in public and smart remarks now when he throws a fit and he's only three, and it worries me for him in the future. I just want everyone to know that normal is so many different things. Everyone has their own normal. My son is normal. He may struggle with different things than what other children struggle with but that doesn't make him an outcast, that makes him Jayden. Thank you for everything I love you so much you're such an inspiration and such a kind hearted sweet woman. I watch all your videos faithfully and my spirits are lifted with your encouragement and knowledge. I love u I love u I love u. Muah.

My favorite quote is actually a recent one that you put up because it speaks to what I am going through in my life. "If we wait until we are ready we will be waiting for the rest of our lives." This quote is exactly what I am experiencing. I am going off to college soon and I don't know if I'm ready but I have come to the realization that it doesn't matter if I'm ready or not because I can only gain and not loose. I'm so scared to be heading off to college but really I'm going to learn things on my own that only by experiencing will help me and not by other telling me. The person I love to death realized I was going through a difficult time in my life and sent me this youtube link to cheer me up. After watching this inspirational video I became more grateful for the people and things I have in my life. I used this quote as a reminder of how blessed I am when I am feeling down. To me this quote means success doesn't come easy, you have to work hard for it if you really want it. For an example, you were/are just a regular girl like the rest of us and you made it!! You fulfilled your dreams and now you're doing what you love. Following your channel has really inspired me and so many others to follow our dreams and have no limits. I would always limit myself and think "I can't" or "That would never happen to me". However, you changed that. I guess I needed the push so thank you Carli. Sometimes it's so easy to let a person/situation get the best of us and bring out the worst in us but then you realize it wasn't even worth the hassle. We will constantly get people trying to get us down but all I can say to you is: "don't ever let anyone dull your sparkle". The sparkle you have within you, what makes you special, is yours to keep so no-one has the right to take it from you (unless you allow them to). Always be yourself, never dumb/put yourself down bc of others. People will talk/hate/break/shake you but how strong you stand is what makes you! Even when you feel down, 'ugly', depressed or ashamed, there is still an inner spark in you and whatever you do, you can't let anyone steal it from you! Hello Carli my fav quote of all time deff has to be "there is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved". This quote really spoke to me one day that I was in Barnes and nobles and I saw a book mark with this quote and I realized that love shouldnt be one sided. At the time I was in dead end relationships were I felt that I was the only one giving it my all in the relationship and when I read this quote it made me realize that I am not the only one that needs to give love I'm also the one that needs to receive it. When I met my husband I knew it was different I no longer was the only one giving it my all. I know that no matter what my husband and I go through I will always love him and he will always love me and that truly is the greatest happiness I could ever ask for. I know I prob sound all gooshy lol but love is a two way street not just a one way. I truly wrote this not because I care about winning anything but to hopefully inspire someone and to remind them that in order to love you need to be loved as well ♥️

Before becoming a mother, obviously it was just me and my Husband-- and we always have had eachother, always will - he's my soulmate and an amazing person and i am so lucky to have him. he helped me grow as a person and helped me get through the hardest times of my life-- and then, we had our precious son, Paul Joseph who has showed me a pure, amazingly beautiful, deep love which I can only experience being his mother and now we literally have EVERYTHING. This quote stood out to me because every since I was about 14 my confidence has been shot to none. What I thought would help me gain confidence was to wear nice clothes and "cool" make up to cover my scars and pain. I always thought "if you look good, you feel good". Unfortunately I learned it is the other way around. One must FEEL good to look good. So, today I have been searching what in my life is missing and what will make me genuinely happy from within. Hiiiii Carli!! I just want to say thank you so much for this amazing giveaway. Even if I don't win, I'm sure the people that do will be so incredibly happy and I think everyone deserves a gift like this. I love all your channels, especially your inner beauty channel. I think it is so amazing that you take the time to talk about issues that effect young girls self image. I have a little sister who just turned 13 and I directed her to your channel because she needs a good role model like you and it's hard to find with the media and other you tubers nowadays. Anywho, my favorite quote at the moment is by Dr. Suess (I love all of his quotes! but this one especially) - "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory". I love and live by this quote because right now the two closest men to me (my husband and father) are struggling with serious illnesses. Hi Carli. I do write a lot by myself. I want to show you a little part from myself. It's a short short short version of a text about a religion and all around this theme. It has kept me busy in recent times, because there were so many moments where I felt like "Why do people don't understand what religion really is?".

To me, this means that it is okay to be scared- normal in fact- but use that fear and gear it towards finding the hope and courage to overcome any and all obstacles life throws at you. ReplyDeleteThis quote means a lot to me now, especially with where I am in my life. I'm currently serving in the US ARMY at fort hood, TX. Going from a girlie girl, to a hardcore soldier, has really changed the way I look at myself. It's hard having self confidence, when you’re required to look the same as everyone else. On top of that, I’m currently 7 MONTHS PREGNANT with a baby girl! With this being my first pregnancy, my body has changed in way I never could have imagined. Trying to get used to a big belly, swollen feet and face, and hair growing EVERYWHERE (yeah its gross lol) has been pretty hard. But I’ve come to realize that not just because I’m not the way I was, doesn't mean I’m not beautiful on the inside. I know I have a good heart, and love for everyone. The way I look on the outside, isn't as important as what I’m like on the inside.

ReplyDeleteThis may be an odd quote to pick for my favorite quote but I love this quote because in this generation a lot of teenagers, and adults feel the need to hide who they really are because of their parents. And even though we all love our parents and are so grateful for what they do for us, in a lot of cases parents don't let kids be themselves because they already have a goal or a path for their kid already. Or some may just not accept or want to accept who their kid(s) really are. I am 18 and personally I've experienced this and also know a ton of people who have as well. And I don't think it's ok I think everyone should accept everyone for who they are, that might be: artsy, gay, retarded, etc.. I think family especially should be the #1 people that love and support you no matter who you are or what you like. And in this century the 21st century, in my generation, I haven't seen much of parents accepting their kids for who they really are, and that hurts and bothers me a ton.

This is my favorite because, with so many different things going on in the world, sometimes we forget to look at the bigger picture in life. We are always caught up stressing about things and worrying how they will get done. But with time, there is always a plan for everything. Last Monday, I experienced a blessing that I would have never imagined to happen to me. I will share that blessing with you.
This year is my daughters first Christmas. She will be one next month in January. I recently put some things on lay away for her at Toys R Us because I cant afford to buy her gifts all at one time. This past week was the last week to pay on the items and also pick them up. Early in the morning last Monday, I received an email from Toys R Us containing a receipt for the last payment I owed on my daughters things. I immediately called the store so I could figure out the problem because I thought something went wrong and they gave my lay away to someone else. The woman on the phone kindly explained to me that over the weekend, an anonymous man came into the store and wanted to pay on people's lay away. Mine was one of them and he paid off the balance I owed on my account. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. The woman told me I could pick up the items anytime. After hanging up with her, I cried. For someone to do something like that for my family meant so much. I wanted to find that man and tell him how thankful I was for his kind heart and soul. I never believed such a blessing would happen to me. What made me even more emotional about this whole thing was that, a week before this occurred, I adopted an Angel from the Salvation Army's Angel tree. His name is Hugo and he is one year old. On his list, it said he needed a jacket and he wanted a small riding toy. Due to having other expenses I would have only been able to afford one of the things on his list. But with the blessing I received I was able to use the money that was originally for my daughters lay away, on Hugo's gifts instead. God works in very mysterious ways and I have always believed everything happens for a reason. Because of the anonymous man that paid off my lay away for my daughter, I was able to pay it forward and do something special for someone who really needed it.
In this world you don't find many people with such kind and loving hearts. You happen to be one of them. You inspire me and so many other people in so many ways. From your makeup videos to just you being yourself and being happy, you truly have shown me so many things most people cannot see. I have been watching your videos for about years now and every time I get a Youtube notification I'm so happy to see its from your channel.
Time is a very delicate and special thing that you have to make the most of because you don't get it back. You make the most of your time by doing what you love and helping so many others along the way.
Thank you so much for being who you are and sharing yourself with the world. And thank you for being so kind and generous as to do something so wonderful like this. You deserve the best in life and I'm so happy for you and Brett.

Hey Carli love! I've been watching your videos for as long as I can remember and I just want to say that you have inspired me to feel beautiful and confident in my own skin. I'm so proud to say that everything I have been through in life, has definitely made me a strong and independent woman. As soon as I turned 16, I gave birth to a healthy, handsome, baby boy. I know some of you ladies/guys are going to read my comment and say how pathetic "teen pregnancy is" and so forth. Well, I'm here to say that you are wrong. Society is such a ugly place and most of the time they portray us young mothers out to be a terrible person. As soon as I saw this quote, it really and truly hit home for me. I'm so, so glad and grateful that I've been blessed with an amazing boyfriend/husband to be. He definitely is my rock! I plan on graduating college and pursing a career in beauty and cosmetology school. That's always been my dream every since I was a little girl and I am going to live my dream! I'm so ready to prove all those people who doubted me, that I CAN AND WILL SUCCEED! Never let anyone or anything in life make you feel different about your dreams. This means a lot to me because I am constantly worrying about EVERYTHING! When I'm feeling down or stressed out, this really is a breath of air. What good is living a life always worrying and making yourself sick over the unexpected? It's not worth it. I always thank God for everything that I do have and ask God to give me what I need. After all, He only gives us his best right? (;

ReplyDeleteThis quote reminds me that growth and change are the pathways to a higher self and a more enriching and fulfilling life. Since losing my husband 16 months ago at 33 yrs old I have been in the process of growth and ascension. A lot of things in my life have changed, I have gone through a great hardship and it has changed me as a person forever. This quote reminds me that I can still live a full and joyful life, but I have to start from within. I have to find my inner essence to fulfill my greater purpose and ensure that my life is a testament to what I learned from loving and losing my love. I want his love and legacy to live through me and enrich others lives. - Thanks for the opportunity!

This is a quote that has given me faith to overcome all obstacles that have crossed into my path no matter how difficult the struggles may be. Until July the first i was like that is it i have to make my dream into a reality i went to my dad and told him that studying abroad is my dream and that i will make him proud so he trusted me and he approved <3 and now i am in Los Angeles preparing to get into a college for the fall <3 i know that i need to work harder and improve my english but its going to be easier by the time i get into college.

Opening the doors to new opportunites. as being my first year of college I have noticed the oppunityes I have been giving I got the chance to learn under makeup artist Lynda Shaeps and well I just hope to be able to make my mark as you have ^_^
